Jean-Pierre Rassam

Jean-Pierre Rassam (1942-1985) was a noted French film producer of the 1970s.

He married Carole Bouquet and the two had a son, Dimitri Rassam. He had a brother named Paul Rassam and a sister named Anne-Marie Rassam. Claude Berri was his brother-in-law.

American writer James Salter remembered Rassam from his years living in Europe in his memoir Burning the Days (ISBN 1-86046-342-8). He recalled him as an inspired film producer who had battled a debilitating drug addiction.
