Jean-Pierre Calloc'h

Yann-Ber Kalloc'h (b.Jean-Pierre Calloc'h in French) (21 July 1888 in the island of Groix - d. 10 April 1917 in Urvillers (Aisne) French writer in Breton and French
He was the son of a humble fisher and he became an orphan in 1902. He studied in the Auray seminary in 1900 and in the Gwened seminary in 1905, but he quitted to look after his sick siblings. He partook in Brittany Gorsedd as Bleimor (Seawolf). He wrote several mystic and Christian poems, most of the during the battles.
He died in combat in the Battle of Verdun in the World War I.
The Breton Scouting organization Bleimor was named in his honor.
