Joshua Allen, LLD, MP, 2nd Viscount Allen' (17 September 1685-5 December 1742) was an Irish peer, the son of John Allen, 1st Viscount Allen. He succeeded to the titles of 2nd Viscount Allen, County Kildare, and 2nd Baron Allen of Stillorgan, on 8 November 1726.
He married Margaret du Pass on 18 November 1707. They had one child.

John Allen, 1st Viscount Allen was born on 13 February 1660/61.1 He was the son of Sir Joshua Allen and Mary Wybrow.1 He married Mary FitzGerald, daughter of Hon. Robert FitzGerald and Mary Clotworthy, on 23 July 1684.1 He died on 8 November 1726 at age 65 in London, England.1 He was buried on 19 November 1726.1 His will was probated in November 1726.1
John Allen, 1st Viscount Allen matriculated in Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 24 November 1677.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the army on the side of King William.1
He held the office of Sheriff of County Dublin in 1691.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Dublin from 1692 to 1693.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow between 1695 and 1699.1
