Jay--My analysis of Grace Note's writing style makes me question the "from the name" assumption that s/he is necessarily a "she"... Tomer TALK 05:20, July 31, 2005 (UTC)
Are you witchhunting me now, Jay? How unpleasant. Does it help the encyclopaedia to pursue vendettas, make lists, try to bully other editors? Clearly, it has been a route to power for you, but I'm not sure I see how playing secret agent aids Wikipedia. There's no mystery. I have never been banned from Wikipedia. I clearly stated that I was a sockpuppet and didn't hide it. I redirected my previous userpage so that the secret police types didn't have to waste their days in this kind of nonsense. I changed usernames because I use the other one in different contexts. I sometimes edit from an anon IP because I don't always bother logging in. No mystery. No drama. No one's out to get you. You could have simply asked me. I have an email address. I'm very approachable.
I suppose you feel that if you create a "case" against me, you can rid yourself of one more editor who doesn't like your POV pushing on Zionist/Islamic issue pages. Hey, there you go! Spin that as a personal attack and you're well away. You can have that one on me. But perhaps you could try engagement instead. You tend only to indulge in that with editors who are willing to find a "balance" that favours your views but you might find it refreshing actually to take account of "the other side". Well, maybe not. Easier just to revert mindlessly and try to get the other side banned, hey? Happy editing. Grace Note 00:02, 16 August 2005 (UTC)
- I'm not creating a case against you Zen, I was just trying to figure out whose sockpuppet you were. It's not against Wikipedia rules to have a sockpuppet, unless you use them to violate policy. Oh, and you did claim not to be anyone's sockuppet: [1] I don't think you're out to get me either, I just think you are a fairly unpleasant editor who tends to accuse others of what you are guilty of yourself; see your comments above for many examples. There's no real point in "engaging" you; you don't have much to offer, and you can't seem to interact with other editors in positive ways. So, I'll just watch. - On Talk:Palestinian territories, I was talking specifically about the anon IP, Jay. I know you don't think there's a point engaging with editors you don't agree with. Easier to revert and rules lawyer, keep lists, backchannel your support and throw your weight around. Not the wiki way but effective in supporting a pro-Zionist bias.
