[edit] Jaywalking

I'm a producer working on BBC Radio 4, second generation Indian, mid-thirties, born in Birmingham, UK, Sikh...but pretty definitely an atheist. Live in West London. Cyclist, runner, reader of fiction and reportage, and a part-time film buff (I especially love watching cinema from places we rarely get to see, ie not Hollywood, or Mumbai).

I suppose I heard about Wikipedia ages ago, but got more interested in using it regularly, albeit cautiously, after the John Seigenthaler controversy - which we reported on the PM programme.

I should say I wouldn't recommend jaywalking but I like the word, and in particular the sentiment (referred to in the jaywalking entry) that we need to reclaim the streets.

Real name: Jatinder Sidhu.
