Jayhawk Collegiate League

The Jayhawk Collegiate League is a summer baseball league consisting of six teams from four Kansas and two Missouri towns. The league was formed in 1976 and is a "Premier League" within the National Baseball Congress.

It currently includes the following teams:

The Twins and Southwest Slashers are new to the league in 2005. The Larks have been league champions for four of the past five years as of 2005.

Well-known alumni of the league include Lance Berkman, Bud Black, Barry Bonds, Albert Pujols, and Ozzie Smith.

Jayhawk League former teams: Amarillo Dillas (1986-93), Elkhart Dusters (1975-2000), Topeka Capitals (1993-2003), Elk City Elkes (1994-2002) and Enid, Oklahoma Red Sox (1995-2003).
