Jaye Jacobs

Jaye Jacobs (born 27 May 1982 in Street, Somerset, England) is a British actress.
She is most famous for her role as nurse Donna Jackson in the BBC drama series Holby City. In 2005, she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. Also played Alice in the soap opera EastEnders.
Before her acting career, her previous jobs included modelling shoes and underwear, working in an indian restaurant, and making and selling jewelry. Jaye lists collecting diamonds as one of her hobbies.
She subsequently trained at the Arts Educational School in London, and also attended dance classes at Tinney School of Dance. In addition to this she is also a mezzo soprano singer and has considerable sporting ability: she is an accomplished gymnast, trampolinist and javelin thrower, and holds a brown belt in karate.
