Jay Ross was a professional wrestler from Southern California, best known as Blitzkrieg.

He debuted on November 7, 1994 and received bookings in Mexico (and purportedly Japan, though little to no record of a Japanese tour exists) before returning to America and signing with World Championship Wrestling.

Blitzkrieg made his WCW debut on Nitro in 1999 wrestling against Rey Mysterio Jr. He then had some exciting bouts in the coming months against Juventud Guerrera, Billy Kidman, and Silver King on Thunder. Blitzkrieg would face Guerrera for a second time at WCW Spring Stampede in what many consider the 1999 Match of the Year for WCW. He also unveiled a new ring attire at Spring Stampede. Blitzkrieg officially made his way into the record books on an edition of Nitro later in the year. Psicosis defeated Blitzkrieg, Rey Mysterio, and Juventud Guerrera on Nitro for Rey Mysterio's Cruiserweight Championship. Although Blitzkrieg neither won or lost the title in the bout, he was involved in a match where a title changed hands, writing his name in history. He would be involved in WCW for a couple more months engaging in more battles with Mysterio and on an edition of Saturday Night, he had a great match with the late, great Eddie Guerrero. Blitzkrieg left WCW in late 1999 and began work on the independent wrestling circuit, primarily in Southern California, for a short time. Many feel that Blitzkrieg is one of, if not the most underrated wrestler in wrestling history and that if he had stayed with WCW he would have achieved great success by now.

On December 12, 2004 he handed his gimmick and mask over to Jack Evans. Jay Ross now works as a computer technician.
