Jason "Jay" Pottinger (born June 29th, 1983 in Whitby, Ontario) is a linebacker for the British Columbia Lions of the CFL. He is 6'2, 243 lbs. and wears number 11. He was drafted in the 1st round, 2nd overall in the 2006 CFL draft by the Lions. Pottinger went to McMaster University in Ontario. In his first season, he recorded no sacks, 6 tackles and 19 special teams tackles in all 18 games for the Lions. He was part of the Lions in their 2006 Grey Cup win.
