Javier Frana

Javier Frana (born December 25, 1966 in Rafaela) is a former tennis player from Argentina, who turned professional in 1986.
Frana represented his native country for the last time in Olympic competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was defeated in the first round by Great Britain's Greg Rusedski. Four years earlier, when Barcelona hosted the Summer Olympics, he reached the second round, falling to France's Fabrice Santoro: 6-4, 2-6, 1-6, and 1-6. At his Olympic debut, in Seoul 1988, he also reached the second round, where he was beaten by his fellow countryman Martin Jaite: 2-6, 4-6 and 2-6.
The lefthander reached his highest singles ATP-ranking on July 24, 1995, when he became the number 30 of the world.
He's of Croat origin (family is from Trogir area).
