[edit] Peanuts

You did not provide a source for the image Image:FinaldailyPeanuts.jpg and it must be deleted unless you can provide a rationale for letting it be used in wikipedia. This panel is obviously copyrighted by United Feature Syndicate. If you can not come up with a rational for using the image, perhaps you can quote the text into the article. The image is not particularily interesting anyway. For an example of a rationale, see mine for the image of Image:CharlieBrown.jpg. Cafe Nervosa | talk 22:23, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image source and copyright

Please remember to add source and copyright tag to images you upload. Images without source and tag will be speedy deleted. Please go to Special:Contributions/JasVe3, select "image" contributions, and fix the images which you ave already uploaded. See also Wikipedia:Image use policy. [edit] Image Tagging Image:25front.jpg

Warning sign
This image may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:25front.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --OrphanBot 03:38, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:BellHigh.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:BellHigh.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 13:44, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ed Laskos article

A tag has been placed on Ed Laskos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Ed Laskos is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Ed Laskos. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable.

Perhaps in a few more years Mr. Laskos' accomplishments could be sufficiently notable for inclusion; at present I feel that he is not sufficiently notable a personality for inclusion. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:37, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
