Jasper Conran

Jasper Conran (born on 12 December 1959.) is a leading English fashion designer. He is the son of the designer Sir Terence Conran and the author Shirley Conran. He was educated at Bryanston School in the 1970s. He also studied in New York, USA, at the Parson's School of Art and Design.

Conran's first women's wear collection was in 1978, followed by his first menswear collection in 1985. He was named Designer of the Year by the British Council in 1986. In 1999 he designed crystal for Stuart Crystal and later china for Waterford Wedgwood. He has an exclusive range for the Debenhams chain of UK department stores.

Conran has recently broken Chiswick's house price record by buying Walpole House for £7,250,000.
