Jason Shiga

Jason Shiga is an Asian-American comics artist from Oakland, California. He majored in pure mathematics at UC Berkeley and his comics have a geeky side, and often feature exciting uses of math. He has received a grant from the Xeric Foundation and the 2003 Eisner Award for talent deserving of wider recognition (and was nominated for Best Single Issue) for his comic strip Fleep. Fleep also won a 2003 Ignatz Award for outstanding story.
