Jason Tavares, better known as Jason Sensation, is a stand up comedian who was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada grew up in Newmarket and now residing in Toronto. He was inspired to start doing impressions by Andre Philipe Gagnon. He was noticed by the World Wrestling Federation while on the Canadian Home Shopping Network plugging WWF gear. Once arriving in the WWF, Sensation would become best known for his part in one of D-Generation X's most infamous parodies ever.

In the original parody, that of the Nation of Domination he played the part of Owen Hart. In doing so, he wore a hugely exaggerated prosthetic nose and had yellow caution tape covering his clothes mocking Owen Hart's new style of tights. Though the sketch was controversial (due to other DX members appearing in blackface) Sensation's portrayal of Owen Hart was wildly praised and was considered the highlight of the entire sketch. However the majority of Sensation's involvement has been excised from re-airings following Hart's tragic death.

Sensation was brought back five months later for his second appearence, this time taking part in a parody of Corporation. This time he played Commisioner Shawn Michaels, calling himself "HBGay" and wearing an expensive suit and hat. He carried a basketball which he dropped ("dropping the ball").

His two appearence in front of WWF crowds were so well-received that he was signed to a developmental contract. Sensation was sent to the Memphis Championship Wrestling farm system in 2000 but was eventually released. During his time in Memphis he was badly injured by Kevin Fertig,in revenge for a prank he pulled. In 2002, he appeared in Toronto's Canadian National Exhibition, imitating current wrestling superstars.

Since leaving the wrestling business he has worked as a security guard at a Canadian TV station, and still performs the occasional comedy show or radio appearance.
