Jason Morris

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jason Morris is best known for having won the silver medal in judo in the -78 kilo weight category in the 1992 Olympics. However, this was just one of many highlights in a 26-year competitive career that included 20 gold medals in international-level competition alone. Morris competed in four Olympic games (1988, 1992, 1996, and 2000) and won bronze in the 1993 World Championships. Today he owns and writes for Real Judo magazine, is the head instructor at the Jason Morris Judo Club, and coaches many highly competitive athletes. Morris was recently named coach of the 2008 US Olympic judo team.
