Jason MacDonald

Jason "The Athlete" MacDonald is a mixed martial artist who competes in the 185 lb division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Born and raised in Merigomish, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Jason currently resides in Red Deer, Alberta and is one Canada's top middleweights. He made his UFC debut Oct. 10th, 2006 at Ortiz vs. Shamrock 3: The Final Chapter with a win over TUF 3 finalist Ed Herman via triangle choke in the first round. Other notable wins include victories over UFC veterans Joe Doerksen, Gideon Ray (in MacDonald's home province of Nova Scotia), and Bill Mahood. On December 30, 2006, at UFC 66, MacDonald will face Chris Leben.
