Jason Johnson (born January 25, 1978) is an Australian rules footballer with the Essendon Football Club.

Known as a tireless running midfielder, Johnson's career honours include All-Australian selection in 2001, the same year he won the W.S. Crichton Medal for Essendon's Best and Fairest player.

His namesake Mark Johnson is part of a midfield duo known at Essendon as the "Johnson boys", however Mark and Jason are actually not related in any way.
