[edit] Biography

Lennard first shot to fame in 2005 as a finalist in Five's reality tv talent search Make Me A Supermodel. She angered judge Rachel Hunter, by describing her as: "spotty, finished and fat" [1]; and also said: "I suggest she throws out the truckload of make-up she uses and hires a personal trainer." [2] Lennard allowed cameras to film her naked in the bath, and confessed to lesbian affairs while filming the show - the judges have accused her of being manipulative [3].

Since then she has carved a minor celebrity career out of her appearance becoming a red-carpet regular; known for her publicised rifts with fellow supermodels such as Sophie Anderton, her relationships with other minor celebrities and her skinny frame. In 2005 she appeared in reality tv show Trust Me I'm a Holiday Rep, but soon was told to leave after her inability to follow simple staff rules including matters with her choice of clothing and how she wore it. She has later pursued her acting and tv presenting career with a minor role in 2005 film Revolver - where at the premier she upstaged Madonna and was compared to Elizabeth Hurley, by turning up in what the press called "Lacey Hotpants." [4]. She interviewed for a part in the first Daniel Craig James Bond movie "Casino Royale", but was rejected after the interview on the grounds of admitting involvement openly in the press [5].

Lennard landed the job to co-present the new 2006 Five Life spin-off show Make Me A Supermodel Extra. However, she was soon sacked after dubbing panel judge Rachel Hunter as "Rachel munter" [6].

Lennard is apparently, according to persistent press reports, is planning a tell-all book called "All Eyes On Me" [7].

[edit] Personal life

The daughter of playboy Brian Lennard who founded Sacha Shoes; and actress Marilyn Galsworthy, who's mother was one of the original Dior and Chanel models. Lennard has two younger sisters, Pandora (b. 1989) and Jessica (b. 1983) - named by their mother after three of their father's mistresses: "a tribute to those who didn't make it" [8].

Lennard was brought up in Belgravia, Bel Air and the Cote d'Azur. The sisters were picked up from school every day in a Rolls-Royce, and had access to five houses equipped with butlers, nannies and cooks. However, her father reportedly lost the family fortune on the gaming tables and left them penniless, at which stage her parents divorced. The girls and their mother today live in Fulham, West London.

Jasmine spent much of her teens so wasted on drugs, that at one stage she was given just six months to live. At 14 she was on the pill, kept marijuana spliffs under her pillow and smashed up her mother's car [9]. Aged 17, she had stolen thousands of pounds from her mother to pay off drug dealers from her spiralling cocaine habit. At the height of her addiction Jasmine changed schools eight times before enrolling at a local college at 17, and then entering The Priory for Rehab.

Her last long term boyfriend was London property developer James Harris, 9 years her senior - whom she would like to develop a hotel with called "Jasmines". A sexual encounter with Simon Cowell was denied by both parties and publicist Max Clifford [10]; which confirmed in her statement that her present boyfriend is Sophie Anderton's ex, nightclub owner Mark Alexiou [11].

[edit] Trivia

  • She was apparently the reason a London based New York Hedge Fund banker spent £36,000 one night on drinks at the Aviva bar in Kensington's five-star Baglioni Hotel, and left a £3,000 tip. The banker had reportedly made £3M on one deal that day, and was so infatuated with Lennard on the night of the "Revolver" premier, he kept sending her over bottles of Dom Perignon champagne. Eventually he put his Black American Express card behind the bar, and said: "The drinks are on me!" Customers put away 851 cocktails - with a combined price tag alone of £5,959; and in the end the bar ran out of Cristal magnums and had to move on to the normal-sized bottles. Lennard said: "I was very flattered to be receiving so much attention." But the actress added: "Even though the guy was very sweet, it was not quite enough to make me leave my boyfriend. Maybe he could try diamonds next time." [12]
