Jasmine Hill Gardens

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jasmine Hill Gardens (20 acres) are botanical gardens located on U. S. Route 231 north of Montgomery, Alabama. They are open to the public most days of the week; an admission fee is charged. (At present the gardens may be temporarily closed.)

The gardens were established in the early 1930's by Benjamin and Mary Fitzpatrick, and now feature a collection of nearly 40 pieces of Greek statuary, both original and copies, including a reproduction of the Temple of Hera. Other attractions include fountains, stairways, and hedges.
