Jasmine Birtles

Jasmine Birtles is both a financial journalist and a comedian, two qualities she combines in various guises including work as a TV and radio presenter, an after-dinner speaker, a quiz show panellist, a pundit and a journalist. She is the presenter of BBC1’s Homes Under the Hammer and has also presented financial series’ on ITV Scotland and UK Style TV.

She appears as a financial pundit on TV programmes such as GMTV, This Morning, Watchdog, BBC Breakfast News, The Wright Stuff, Sky News and Channel 5 News, and has been a financial presenter for Simply Money TV. She appears as a panellist or guest on Radio 4 and Radio 5 programmes such as Quote Unquote, Off the Page, Broadcasting House and The Matthew Bannister Show.

She has written 35 books - including the bestseller, A Little Book Of Abuse, and A Bit on the Side: 500 Ways to Boost Your Income. She also writes for various newspapers, magazines and websites, and has a column in the Independent on Sunday, What House magazine and Junior magazine.

She is a stand-up comedian and after-dinner speaker and hosts financial workshops around the country, particularly for women, and speaks on leadership skills to corporate and student audiences.
