Assuming there was a flood, then every person who lived before the flood and was Jesus' ancestor is also an ancestor of you and me. Think about it.

Hmm. Clarification: from Adam to the three sons of Noah (Shem, Japheth, and Ham). After that point and through Shem, Jesus' birthline is specific to him alone. Anyhow along these lines somewhat, here's something that always ticks in my thoughts: all mankind is descended from the first man (Adam, meaning just that) and woman (whom the man named Eve meaning "Life"), all the way to one of that man's descendents, Noah (who along with his seven family members were the only humans alive after God flooded & cleansed the globe with the planet's 'hydrosphere'). Thus the post-Deluge human race is descended from a single human being via his three sons. All people are in fact one worldwide family, and they supposedly 'know' this fact as they are religiously instructed in it from their childhood --be them adherents of Christendom [the Bible], Judaism (haTorah), or Islam (al-Qurʼan). And yet, look how this familia humanitas has treated one other through the millennia.. what badness they have worked toward their brother, what hatred they have harbored at their kindred. This I think about when reflecting American History for example, how church-going "Christian" Americans treated the dark-skinned native peoples of southern Africa and North America itself. And bringing this back to Jesus, I then consider the command of Christ to his followers (Christ-ians) which is recorded in the Bible at John 13: 34,35 ("A new commandment I am giving you , that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all [men] will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.") Looking at the state of the modern world, the general 'disfunctional human family' (especially those claiming to adhere to Christianity) need to deeply examine & meditate on Jesus' directive-- and then DO it. We are all related every one through genetic coding. I digress at this time.

If we all came from 1 person (Adam then later on Noah's 3 sons) then shouldn't we all have deformities or something from the thousands of years of in-breeding?
