Jarrod Cooper

Jarrod Cooper (born March 31, 1978 in Akron, Ohio) is an American football player who currently plays defensive back for the Oakland Raiders. Cooper was a four-year starter at strong safety for Kansas State University and earned All-Big 12 recognition following each season. He was elected a team captain as a junior and senior, and left the Wildcats ranked 11th all-time in tackles. He was drafted in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and played in Super Bowl XXXVIII.
