The Jarbidge Wilderness is located in the upper elevations of the Jarbidge Mountains in northern Elko County, in northeastern Nevada in the western United States. Established in 1964, it was the first wilderness area in the state. Expanded in 1989, this wilderness is now over 113,000 acres (457 km²), and is managed by the Humboldt National Forest.
