Japanese superstitions

These are some examples of Japanese superstitions.
- If you play with fire, you will wet your bed. (It makes children become aware of the danger of fire.)
- If you rest just after eating, you will be a cow. (This means not to be lazy.)
- If a black cat crosses your path, something bad will happen.
- If you whistle or play a flute at night, snakes will come to you. (This means not to bother your neighbors.)
- If you catch a crow's eyes, something bad will happen.
- When you are nervous, write "human beings" in Japanese on your palm three times and pretend swallow them. It will help you to relax.
