Kasumi was a Asashio-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name means "Haze" (Mist of Flowers).
On 6 April 1945, Kasumi escorted the battleship Yamato from the Inland Sea on her attack mission towards Okinawa. She was sunk on 7 April by aircraft of Task Force 58. Fuyuzuki removed survivors, and scuttled her with two torpedoes, 150 miles (275 km) southwest of Nagasaki ().
