IMDb profile |
Japanese Devils (or Riben Guizi) is a Japanese film revealing the atrocities of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The horrific stories were retold by retired Japanese soldiers in their eighties, such as Shinozuka Yoshio. Since the film showed a historical fact greatly different from that written in textbooks, many controversies were stirred up in Japan. (In China, some Chinese use Riben Guizi as term of disparagement.)
