Japan Highway Public Corporation

Japan Highway Public Corporation (日本道路公団 Nihon Dōro Kōdan?), or JH, is a public company established to construct and manage highway networks in Japan, founded in 1956.

On October 1, 2005, JH was divided in three private enterprises, East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO East Japan), Central Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO Central Japan), and West Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO West Japan)
