Jannero Pargo (born October 22, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) is a professional basketball player with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets [1]. He has also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors and most recently the Chicago Bulls. He attended the University of Arkansas.

A rarely-seen player known for his timely 3-point shooting, Pargo played a big role in Chicago's first round playoff appearance in 2005 against the Washington Wizards. He hit a 3-pointer with 5 seconds to play to tie the game after the Bulls trailed by 10 points with a minute remaining, Pargo buried three 3-pointers to lead the comeback only to lose on the buzzer to Gilbert Arenas' jump shot.

His younger brother Jeremy Pargo is a sophomore guard for Gonzaga University.
