Janice Moodie is a Scottish golfer who plays mainly on the U.S. based LPGA Tour. She was born in Glasgow on 31 May 1973.

[edit] Amateur Career
Moodie captured the 1992 Scottish Ladies title and was a member of the Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup Teams in 1994 and 1996. She participated in the World Cup Team Championship from 1995-96. As a competitor on the San Jose State University golf team, she earned First-Team All-American honors from 1994-97. She was the winner of 12 collegiate tournaments and posted the lowest scoring average on her team from 1996-97. She majored in psychology.

In 1997, qualified for the LPGA Tour by tying for 21st at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1998 season. In 1998, she finished second to Se Ri Pak in the Rolex Rookie of the Year race. In 2000 she claimed her maiden victory at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, passing the $1 million mark in LPGA career earnings. In 2002, won her second LPGA title at the Asahi Ryokuken International Championship, where she crossed the $2 million mark in LPGA career earnings;
She represented Europe in the Solheim Cup in 2000 and 2003. Her best finish on the LPGA money list through 2005 was fourteenth in 2000. She also plays occasionally on the Ladies European Tour.
