the name of jangaon evolved from "jain gaon" which means village of jains a religion of india. kolanpak (kulpak)of nalgonda district which is about 20km from jangaon is a famous piligrimage centre for jain people n it has much historical back ground.
when jain religion dominated in india most of the tourists from different places of india visited kulpak. at that time most of the jains they setteled in jangaon, which is called jaingaon at that time. things changed from time to time n people started calling it as jangaon. kulpak's history starts in 1st century A.D. n we find the archeological scluptures at there now .
