Janet Schiff

Janet C. Schiff created a cello with a guitar and coat hanger at age 7, began studying cello at the age of 10 at The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and began composing while attending The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee when she was 20. Ms. Schiff uses Jargar cello strings and dark Hill rosin for precise tones. Janet Schiff's music has been featured on t.v., radio, and podcasts.

Nowadays, Janet is performing, teaching, and composing music on her 1913 cello and living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
