Jane Randolph Jefferson (1720-1776) was the wife of Peter Jefferson, cousin of Peyton Randolph, daughter of Isham Randolph, and the mother of Thomas Jefferson and his siblings. She was born in London, and came from a leading family. It was said that she was a descendant of Charlemagne.
