Jane McDonald

Jane McDonald (born 4 April 1963 and raised on the Peacock Estate in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England) is an English singer and television presenter, who first became famous after appearing in the 1998 television series, The Cruise. She has released four albums, Jane McDonald (which reached number 1 in the UK album charts, staying there for three weeks), Inspiration, Love at the Movies and You Belong to Me.
She has also presented the television programme, Star For A Night, which helped launch the singer Joss Stone. She is also a regular panellist for the shows, Loose Women and The Wright Stuff. She has also appeared on the reality shows, Have I Been Here Before and Drop the Celebrity. Jane also appeared in the Wicked Women concert and sang "This Is The Moment" from the Broadway musical Jekyll and Hyde.
Her wedding to Henrik Brixen in 1998 was televised by the BBC and watched by 20 million viewers, although the couple have recently divorced. She is currently romantically linked with political researcher Steven Darke.
In 2006 she began her tour, which featured a choir of 150 people. The last date of the tour was 2nd November 2006.
A new tour and album from Jane is expected in 2008.
