Jane Clayson (Johnson) is an American journalist and television personality. She is a former co-host of The Early Show on CBS with Bryant Gumbel. A graduate of Brigham Young University, she is the first Alumna to become a national news anchor. Before becoming a news anchor at CBS, Clayson was a news correspondent at ABC News. After her stint as a morning news anchor, Jane shifted to evenings in 2002, where she became a correspondent and substitute anchor for the CBS Evening News and 48 Hours. She is currently a stay-at-home mom [1]
