Jan Pietrzak

Jan Pietrzak (1937-present) is a Polish comedian, founder of Kabaret pod Egidą (1967). He cofounded the 'Hybrydy' student cabaret with Jonasz Kofta in 1962 (60-67?). One of the popular comedians and voices of anti-communist Poland, his "Żeby Polska była Polską" (For Poland to be Poland) song became one of the protest songs and hymns of Solidarity-period.
