  • While some of it is certainly not neutral ("wildly" and "stunning" come to mind in the sentence quoted), is the whole nonsense? It's verifiably true that the listed poems in the third paragraph are widely anthologized. Is he one of the "most beloved" poets? He does hold some kind of record for most elegized contemporary poet, it seems like. The overview of his career in the first paragraphs also strikes me as being factually accurate, if somewhat flowery. Should we just tone down the laudatory nature of it? If I'm reading the history right, whoever added this section also added to Charles Simic, Galway Kinnell, Pablo Neruda, and W.S. Merwin, all related poets.
