Jamnagar Refinery

The Jamnagar Refinery is a private sector petrol refinery owned Reliance Petrochemicals Limmited in Jamnagar, India. The refinery was commissioned on 14 July 1999 with an installed capacity of 27 MMTPA. It is the largest greenfield refinery in the world and fifth largest refinery in the world. The refinery has a present capacity of 33.00 MMTPA and is currently undergoing massive expansion that will double its capcity to 1.2 milion barrels per day. This will enable it to serve both the local demand but also act as an export refinery.
