Jamie Ward (born May 12, 1986) is a professional footballer, currently playing as a midfielder or forward for Torquay United. He was born in Birmingham, but qualifies to play for Northern Ireland through his grandfather. He made two appearances for the Northern Ireland under-18 side and in September 2006 was an unused substitute for the Under-21 team in their game against Germany.

Ward began his career as a trainee with Aston Villa, turning professional in July 2005 after recovering from injuries received in a car crash. He joined Stockport County on loan in March 2006 until the end of the season, making his league debut in a 1-0 victory away to Bury on the 7th of March. He made 9 appearances, scoring once in a 3-1 home victory against Shrewsbury Town.

At end of the 2005-06 season, Ward was released by Villa. On the 6th of July 2006 he signed a 3-year contract with Ian Atkins' Torquay United.
