Jamie Spencer is an Irish flat racing jockey who was born on 8 June 1980. He is considered one of the best jockeys currently riding in Britain and Ireland and has won many of the classic races his first being the 1998 Irish 1000 Guineas when he partnered Tarascon to victory. In 2005 Spencer was British Champion Jockey.

Spencer was formerly stable jockey for Aidan O'Brien at Ballydoyle until they parted company in 2005 after a difficult 2004. He was replaced as stable jockey by Kieren Fallon.

Spencer is married to Channel 4 TV presenter Emma Spencer.
