Jamie Rennie

Jamie Rennie is the Chief Executive of LGBT Youth Scotland, the national organisation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people in Scotland. Jamie trained as a teacher after leaving University although, rather than teach, he has worked in Youth work since he qualified.

He is currently the chair of National Voluntary Youth Work Organisations Chief Officers Group, the NHS LGBT Health Forum and the Lothian Association of Youth Clubs. Jamie is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Big Lottery’s Young People’s Fund Expert Panel. He serves on the Policy Committee of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Jamie studied physics at Heriot-Watt University where he spent a sabbatical year as President of the Students Association. A Highlander by birth, Jamie now lives in Edinburgh.
