Jamie Parker is an English actor.

Parker has performed on stage, film, television and radio.

Parker attended a boarding school in Edinburgh and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), from which he graduated in 2002.^[1][2][3] He spent five years with the National Youth Music Theatre in London, performing in The Beggar’s Opera, The Ragged Child, Into the Woods and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 50th Birthday Celebration.^[2]

Parker originated the role of Scripps in Alan Bennett's play The History Boys. He was involved in The History Boys from the play’s first reading, initially reading the part of Rudge^[4] before taking on the role of Scripps in the original West End stage production as well as in the Broadway, Sydney, Wellington and Hong Kong productions and radio and film versions of the play.^[5][6][7][8]

Parker put his musical talents to use in The History Boys, playing piano and singing in several scenes.
