Jamie Annerson (born. June 21, 1988 in Sheffield) is an English footballer, who plays in the position of goalkeeper for Sheffield United.
Annerson signed a professional contract with the newly promoted Blades on the September 20, 2005.
He was included in two of Sheffield United's League Cup games in the 2005-06 season, and received England U18 international recognition, when he was chosen as a standby for the match against Slovenia in April 2006.
Since signing, Annerson has played for both the Shefield United Academy (U18 youth team) and Central League reserve team, and will provide back-up for Paddy Kenny and Ian Bennett in the 2006-07 season.
Annerson, currently a scholar with United, has linked up with Ilkeston Town on a work experience basis in October 2006. He is included in the England U19s squad which faced Switzerland in a friendly at Crewe's Alexandra Stadium on November 14, 2006.
