James Ryall (born 14 November 1980) is an Irish sportsperson. He is a player on the Kilkenny senior hurling team.

James Ryall was born in Bennetsbridge, County Kilkenny in 1971. He was educated locally and currently works as a sales rep with a motor company. He plays club hurling with his local Graigue-Ballycallan Gaelic Athletic Association club. Although never having success at minor or under-21 level with Kilkenny, he has become a key member of the panel since making his debut in 2002. Within a year of joining the team he had won his first Leinster Championship and All-Ireland titles. He also won his first National Hurling League medal. The following year (2003) Ryall claimed the same three titles with League, provincial and All-Ireland successes. In 2004 Kilkenny were in the doldrums, finishing the year without any major title. The team was back in 2005 and 2006 with Ryall playing a key role when the side claimed all three major honours again.
