James Roe

James Edward Roe II (Born:August 23, 1973) is an Arena Football League wide receiver/linebacker for the San Jose SaberCats. He also played in the NFL previously for the Baltimore Ravens.

James Roe attended Henrico High School in Richmond, Virginia. He was an All-State honoree in football, an All-League honoree in basketball, and he also participated in track. James Roe graduated from Henrico High School in 1991.

James Roe attended Norfolk State University.

[edit] National Football League career

Roe played for two years for the Baltimore Ravens, and ended his career with 15 receptions for 239 yards(15.93 yards per rec. avg.), and a touchdown.

In six Arena Football League seasons with the San Jose SaberCats, Roe has caught 419 receptions for 5,489 yards and 129 touchdowns, making him San Jose's leading receiver over that span. He received All-Ironman Team honors in 2003, 2004, and 2005, and was named Ironman of the Game in San Jose's ArenaBowl XVIII victory.
