James Pearson is a British actor who has lived in Yorkshire, Qatar, and Aberdeenshire and now lives in Edinburgh.

He has appeared on television on numerous occasions

• Kidnapped (the 2005 mini series) as the main character
• Casualty
• Holby City.

Pearson shall appear as Bernard Sumner in the upcoming Anton Corbijn film entitled Control: The Ian Curtis Film, scheduled for release in 2007.
