James Dingsdale

James Dingsdale is a British film director and editor. He lives and works in Penrhyn Bay, North Wales and is Managing Director of the Global Independent Film Company.

James Dingsdale was born in St. Asaph, North Wales and attended Ysgol John Bright secondary school and sixth form college in Llandudno. As a teenager, Dingsdale drew influences from independent film makers such as Roger Corman, Lucio Fulci and Fred Olen Ray. He was also an avid fan of Universal Horror films and the films of Alfred Hitchcock.
[edit] Sky Raiders
Created by Dingsdale in 2004, Sky Raiders is the story of World War II Royal Air Force pilot Jack Cannon and his search for a lost agent in the South Pacific. The film starred actors Dan Galston and Andrew Etches and was filmed in mid 2005.
In 2006, Dingsdale and Global Independent Pictures announced the third film in the series, "The Curse of Osiris", to be set in Giza, Egypt. Rumours abound that the film would be shot in Egypt, Dingsdale confirmed that he would employ visual effects techniques in order to shoot the film locally in the United Kingdom.

Global International Pictures announced the cancellation of ongoing projects in November 2006. Subsequently, the company announced that it would be liquidated and reformed as two separate production wings. From the remnants of Global International Pictures, a financial company named United Orme Film Investors and a production company named PBGA Motion Pictures were formed. Among the cancelled projects were the Iraq based drama Breaking News and the biographical thriller based on the robbery carried out by D.B. Cooper.

On November 24 2006, PBGA Motion Pictures announced their latest project to be written and directed by James Dingsdale. Though details of the project are currently sketchy, early indications suggest that the story concerns zombie Nazis who are confined on a small European island.
