James C. Condos

James C. ("Jim") Condos (born January 29, 1951 in Orange, New Jersey) is a Democratic member of the Vermont State Senate, representing the Chittenden senate district.

James Condos was first elected to the Vermont State Senate in 2000 and continues in that office.

Condos moved to Burlington, Vermont in 1955 and then South Burlington in 1967. He graduated from South Burlington High School in 1969. In 1974, he graduated from the University of Vermont.

He has been married to Cindy Condos (formerly Hall) since October 1974 and they have one daughter.

Condos works as public affairs manager for Vermont Gas Systems, Inc.

Condos has served on the South Burlington city council since 1989 and has been chairman since 1999.

He was elected to the Vermont Senate in 2000 and reelected in 2002, 2004, and 2006.
