Jambatan Sultan Mahmud is a main bridge in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. crossing Terengganu River with three islands are Pulau Besar, Pulau Tengah and Pulau Duyung Besar. Constructed in 1988, the bridge was officially opened by the late of Sultan of Terengganu Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah in 1990. The main toll plaza was abolished on 1999 following the instructions from Pas Terengganu government that time.
