JAMin is an open source (distributed under terms of the GNU GPL) tool for mastering audio recordings in a studio environment. It is based on the JACK low-latency audio server, which means that it can read master mix output from a digital audio workstation like Ardour and write back to it a new mastered track in real-time of freewheel mode.
