A member of the Jamaican Defence Force assigned to escort a platoon of the Bermuda Regiment, training in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica in 1996. Each Bermuda Regiment platoon was assigned a Jamaican soldier to act on its behalf in case of any difficulties with Jamaican civilians (Bermudian soldiers having no authority in Jamaica, but Jamaican soldiers having many powers of police).
